The Scope of the Electricity Business Unit include inter alia:

• Electrical Network Engineering, Operations & Maintenance, Regulatory Compliance & Reporting, Project Management and Asset Management as per NENA

• Electricity Meter reading, Prepaid vending, Billing, Revenue collection, Customer Care, Credit Control, Stores, Procurement and Financial Administration

• Administration of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) function for the whole Municipality i.e. Syntell and munsoft management, IT policies, Disaster Recovery (DR), SQL and GIS server management, SDWAN Network management
